I'm here to paint a picture and make you look flawless.
I am a visual artist, a painter, and I love it! The feeling of creating something with my own two hands is like nothing else in the world. It's an amazing feeling to see someone look at your work and say "wow" or "this is so beautiful". That's when you know that you've accomplished what you set out to do as an artist. Why do we create art? What makes us artists? How can we become professional artists? These are all questions that have been asked by myself many times over the years as I have studied and tried to figure out how to be successful as one. In this article I will give some insight on what it means to be an artist and why being one is so important in today’s society.
Painting.
Painting is the process of applying paint to a surface. The practice may not be as simple as it sounds, however. Firstly, before any brush can be dipped into paint and used on canvas or paper, one must have a clear idea of what they want their art work to look like; this may involve sketches and preliminary drawings of their creations so that they know how best to execute them. Secondly, there are many different types of paints available for purchase in today's society (acrylics, oils, watercolour) that should be taken into account when deciding what type of paint will work best with the medium being employed. Lastly—and most importantly—the artist should enjoy themselves while creating: if you don't have fun making your paintings then why bother doing it at all?
Figure drawing.
- What is figure drawing?
Figure drawing is the art of drawing the human form. It can be simple or complex, but all figure drawings require an understanding of anatomy and how to draw a person from memory. Some artists find it easier to take reference photos or use models as visual aids when working on their figure drawings.
- How do I get started?
The best thing you can do for yourself is start slowly and work on one aspect at a time—whether that be gesture sketches, value scales or simply focusing on the structure of the body parts in relation to each other (such as feet with knees). Don't worry if your first attempt looks terrible—everyone starts somewhere! As long as you're practicing regularly (ideally every day), then there's nothing stopping you from becoming a good artist in no time!
Empowerment art.
Empowerment art is a type of art that aims to empower women and girls. The goal is to help women and girls feel good about themselves, as well as give them the confidence they need to be able to do anything they want in life.
Empowerment art can take many forms. Some examples include:
- Painting pictures or creating sculptures that tell stories about empowerment or self-love
- Writing songs or poems with empowering messages
- Drawing comics where the main character is a strong woman who goes on adventures and solves problems on her own (like Wonder Woman)
Portraying women, specifically female figures.
Portraying women, specifically female figures.
I want my work to be empowering for women. To show them that they can be feminine, soft and sexy while also strong, powerful and capable of anything. I want my subjects to be able to look at themselves in their portrait and feel good about who they are. I want them to smile after looking at their painting because it's exactly what they wanted or hoped for; this is why I take such care when choosing models for my portraits. I know how much time goes into each piece so your satisfaction is hugely important!
Painting with specific themes such as female empowerment, for girls and women all over the world to feel good about themselves when looking at a painting.
I want to make people feel good about themselves when they look at my paintings. I want to portray the human form in a beautiful way, and I want my audience to walk away feeling inspired.
I'm not just painting faces or landscapes; I'm also painting themes that are important to me, such as female empowerment, for girls and women all over the world to feel good about themselves when looking at a painting.
art is more than just throwing shapes on a canvas
Art is more than just painting a picture. Art is more than drawing a picture. Art is more than throwing shapes on a canvas, or putting paint on a canvas, or creating a painting. Art is an expression of our emotions, thoughts and feelings that come together to create something beautiful for you to look at; something that will make you feel like you've been transported into another world for however long it takes for you to appreciate the art piece fully (usually about 5 minutes).
Art allows us as humans to express ourselves in ways that words cannot convey; we are able to show off our creativity with colors and shapes, textures and lines — all of which culminate in one thing: beauty!
